The Libra Trust has once again impacted the lives of dozens of schoolchildren in the first week of school, when they donated school shoes, bags and uniforms to theneedy at ACJ Phakade Primary School, Rusthof Primary and Dr GJ Joubert Primary.

The annual handover, by Peter Peterson, is a way to remember his daughter, Tracey Agram, who died in 2015 and was very involved in assisting underprivileged children.

This was the fifth year the project had been running, and Peterson said he felt privileged being able to perform this act of love and hoped to inspire others to do the same.

New school shoes were handed over at Dr GJ Joubert Primary. Pictured at the back is school principal Tauhiera Fanie, Cindy Coetzee and Vernon Boswell.
