ACVV Strand is calling on the community to help them trace a mother of two young children.
The office is looking to track down Lorraine Barendse, biological mother of Layla and Samukelo Barendse.
The last known address for the parent is 0774 Sithunzi Street, Nomzamo.
A friend reported Barendse was last seen in Zola, Asanda Village.
Anyone with information on the sought parent’s whereabouts is urged to contact social worker Asanda Colene Smith on 021 854 7215 or strandnom3@acvv.org.za.
Badisa Strand is also urgently looking for Paul and Palesa Lejaha, who are the foster parents of two young siblings, Bonolo (13) and Rifiloe Sephula (11).
The couple’s last known address is 38 Eighteenth Avenue, Broadlands Village, Strand. The matter stands in relation to the foster-care extension of the children concerned.
