Gordon High’s 1969 matric class meet up

A few mates of the 1969 matric class of Gordon High reunited at the Stables Restaurant at Vergelegen Estate last month. Among the group were Benita de Wet, Dan Adonis, Sharifa Daniels, Hilton Lyners, Moira Terhoeven-Stewart and Brian Dreyer, who were joined by their teacher Professor Harold Herman. Together they revelled in precious memories, also recalling all those who had passed on. “We are truly blessed still to be around,” was the message accompanying this image. “It was a pleasant gathering with memories recalled and lots of laughter, and a little serious talk about world affairs.”
