The month of March will see the return of the popular picnic concerts series at Backsberg Estate Cellars in Paarl.
And, concert goers can prepare themselves to be entertained by four of the country’s top musical acts.
The Backsberg Centenary Picnic Concert Series kicks off on Sunday 26 February with a performance by The Nomadic Orchestra. It will host the Blues Broers (Sunday 5 March), Valiant Swart and Akkedis Band (12 March) and Taxi Violence (19 March).
Music lovers are invited to enjoy a leisurely Sunday afternoon on the estate lawns with a glass of wine, while listening to some great local music.
Tickets cost R120, pre-booked on www.webtickets.co.za, and R150 at the gate. Students pay R60, while children under 12 enter free. Tickets can also be bought directly from Backsberg at R100.
