DistrictMail & Helderberg Gazette, in partnership with Savemore Meat Market, has initiated a food drive to collect items such as canned foods, pasta, beans, soups, tea bags, powdered milk and bottled water for the less fortunate, who are struggling to make ends meet following recent flooding that has severely affected the lives of the local communities in Macassar, Sandvlei and surrounds. Should you wish to play your part you can either drop off the items at Savermore Meat Market at the corner of Fish and Kabeljou streets in Macassar, or at our offices at 37 Mynhardt Street, Gants Plaza, Strand.
