The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation is calling on matric learners across the country who display academic excellence and entrepreneurial potential to apply for its University Fellowship Programme before Friday 28 April.

The University Fellowship Programme equips candidates with more than just a degree; it provides them with the right tools to flourish in their industry and become a business leader who makes a big impact. Successful candidates will receive access to entrepreneurial mindset development, funding for their university studies and academic and personal mentorship. All this will nurture and develop their skills, enabling them to develop into high-impact responsible entrepreneurs. Application requirements: . South African citizenship;. 21 years of age or younger;. Minimum of 60% in Pure Mathematics or a minimum of 80% in Mathematical Literacy for final Grade 11 results;. Minimum average of 70% for final Grade 11 results (excluding Life Orientation);. Intention to study towards a Commerce, Science, Engineering, Law, Humanities, Arts or Health Sciences (excluding Medicine, Veterinary Science and Dentistry) degree at university;. Indications of an entrepreneurial mindset; and. Belief in the future of South Africa.

Applicants with a combined annual household income of R1 million and below will receive full funding, and those above R1 million needs-based funding. Visit www.allangrayorbis.org to download an application form or to apply online before 17:00 on Friday 28 April.
