Gordon’s Bay police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after a motorcyclist died in an accident between Rooi Els and Gordon’s Bay on Sunday 13 February.
According to a police spokesperson, officers responded to the scene at 08:00 on Sunday. A 33-year-old man from Kuils River died in the accident, which happened when the deceased lost control of his motorcycle and collided with another.
Richard Coleman, spokesperson for the City of Cape Town’s Traffic Services, said the other motorcyclist sustained slight injuries and was not hospitalised. The roadway was cleared by 09:59.
