Sir Lowry’s Pass Village community members residing on mission grounds participated in a training session hosted by Somerset West police as part of the Community in Blue campaign, which aims to equip locals with the necessary knowledge and skills to aid in the fight against crime. Station commander Colonel Jacolize Fleischmann commended the residents for availing themselves to partner with police and help eradicate crime in their areas. The trained community members will patrol the streets with police members. Pictured with the newly trained Community in Blue members are Fleischmann and Lieutenant Colonel JP du Toit.
