The Western Province Cycling Association and Myriad Events are hosting the 2022 Provincial Road Cycling Championships this coming weekend – Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 January.
The event will take place at Perdeberg Cellars in Paarl over the two days, with the time trial championships to be held on the first day followed by the road race on day 2.
The riders in the Elite and Under-23 men’s categories will take on a challenging 158 km race that circles round the Perdeberg area before heading through Wellington and out towards Hermon and Riebeek Kasteel.
The long climb over Bothmanskloof Pass will bring the riders back towards Perdeberg for the finish of the race.
