The False Bay 50 run, which took place on Sunday 22 May, was hailed as a huge success by hosts BMEvents and Strand Athletics Club. In a joint statement, they expressed thanks to all volunteers and sponsors. The top three finishers were Jimmy Bonjesi (first), Craig Cynkin (second) and Lindikhaya Mthangayi (third).
