In a heart-warming display of community and compassion, the Winter Wonderland High Tea, hosted by Helderberg Hospice was held at Firgrove Primary School on Sunday 30 July.

The event was a resounding success, uniting individuals from all walks of life in support of a noble cause, funding essential palliative care services.

Guests were welcomed into a transformed Firgrove Primary, where laughter and joy echoed through the hall. The Winter Wonderland High Tea not only tantalised taste buds but also touched hearts, as each sip and every bite translated into tangible support for those in need.

The generosity of the community shone brightly, as all proceeds from the event went towards furthering hospice’s mission of providing dignified and compassionate care to individuals and families during their most vulnerable moments.

The event was a testament to the unwavering dedication of the hospice team, volunteers and visitors. Together, they created a tapestry of care and kindness, ensuring that those facing challenging times find solace and comfort.
