The City of Cape Town’s customer offices will be closed on public holidays over the next few months.
Residents are reminded of the various convenient online payment options at this time.
“We encourage residents to use of our simple and convenient e-Services options and make an online booking when visiting a customer office in person,” said Mayoral Committee Member for Finance Siseko Mbandezi. “Residents are encouraged to check the City’s website or call ahead before visiting the nearest office if in doubt. Customers are also urged to settle their municipal accounts by using the convenient QR code on their invoice. The code is embedded with their EasyPay number and outstanding balance, and allows easy access to the payment portal for an accurate, efficient and secure payment process.
“Thank you to all our account holders for their payments and continuous support. The City remains committed to improving and enhancing service offerings to residents and we once again urge customers to make use of our new online options.”
The City’s Revenue Department offices (payment, account enquiries and motor vehicle registration and licensing) as well as Traffic Services’ driver’s-licence testing centres, Human Settlements’ offices and municipal courts will be closed on the following dates in the period March to May:.
