The fruity Christmas cake is one of those treats that make it feel like Christmas, thanks to the age-old tradition still made with the much-loved original recipe, which includes a rich blend of spices, fruits and nuts.
The traditional rich fruit cake weighs 1 kg, contains plenty of fruit, is alcohol-free and costs only R160. Funds raised through cake sales are used to finance projects in communities served by the clubs.
