A minor collision occurred on the N2 highway between Gerber Boulevard and Lourens Street near Gants Centre in Strand around 08:00 on Wednesday morning (21 September).
No official report has been released regarding the incident, but it appears that two cars collided, one of which was rear-ended.
One of the vehicles involved belongs to AM Security, their fleet manager confirmed.
“We are still awaiting the full report of what transpired. I can confirm that no injuries were sustained,” said the fleet manager.
Disruption to traffic was minimal as both vehicles were moved to the side of the road to allow vehicles to pass without delay.
