Masincedane Community Service (MCS), in partnership with Phambili/Bethesda Church, celebrated World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) with an awareness campaign hosted at the church in Broadlands Park last Tuesday (2 August). According to the registered NPO, which has initiated various development programmes in the Helderberg, the day was about educating mothers on the benefits and importance of breastfeeding, and thanking the support structures in place serving breastfeeding mothers in the region.
