‘Black out’ cause of taxi collision

A taxi loaded with passengers crashed into a shop in Main Road, Strand early on Thursday morning during rush hour. According to reports the driver “blacked out” and lost control of the vehicle, which was brought to a halt at the entrance gate of a small superette. Fortunately only minor injuries were attended to at the scene and the damaged gates of the shop were repaired the same day.Photo: Yaseen Gaffar
