The City of Cape Town Events Department has been given approval by Full Council to enter into a new agreement to sponsor the Investec SA Women’s Open for the next three years. The new agreement with the Women’s Professional Golf Association (WPGA) will come into effect ahead of the 2024 Investec SA Women’s Open, set to take place at the Erinvale Golf Estate in Somerset West later this month. This will be the seventh straight year that Cape Town will hos the country’s oldest and most prestigious professional women’s golf tournament. The 2024 Investec Women’s Open will once again draw the curtain on the eight-tournament Sunshine Ladies Tour season. It will take place at the Erinvale from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 April
