Another musical delight for a worthy cause is set to enthral melomaniacs with not-to-miss performances by the renowned saxophonist Don Vino who steps up to the local stage alongside industry friends on Saturday 14 September.
Saxy Vibes Productions presents the “Music Beats the Heart” show at the Strand Town Hall in Piet Retief Street at 19:00.
Locals can look forward to a stellar lineup assured to get audiences moving and grooving to the beat and offer the perfect therapy for the soul with performances by the acclaimed headliner and fellow artists Quinton Manuels, Mujahid George, Candice Thornton, percussionist Jason Ward, Tersia Harley and Alistair Izobell.
Tickets cost R150 and can be booked online via Webtickets (at https://www.webticket.co.za/v2/event.aspx?itemid=1549263767). Proceeds will go toward the Helderberg Stroke Support Group, which not only seeks to educate others on the topic, but to raise awareness on the local NPO, which has been assisting stroke survivors and their families in the Basin for about three decades, and the support made available to those who may require it.
