On Saturday night (15 April) Strand Beach came alive with crowds and acrobatic wonders after a successful a beach clean-up that day, which resulted in more than 120 kg of litter and small plastic removed. This was followed by the troupe Flying Fitness performance of a majestic acrobatic item and, as the sun set, the drums of Drumba Rhythm for Life began to beat. Fire & Flow Studio Somerset West’s The Lit Monkeys also turned up the heat with a breathtaking fire performance. Surf4Earth popped by with his didgeridoo, which brought a new element too. The Halli Trust, the non-profit organisation, was overjoyed at seeing the number of pre-loved items the community had brought for those in need.
