The best of baseball and cricket was on full display at Radloff Park when players of Helderberg Pirates Baseball Club and the Somerset West Cricket Club locked horns on Saturday (13 April). The annual tradition of swapping sports codes for the day was once again well attended and action-packed. This year it was baseball that took full honours. Players also made up a mixed team on the second game to try and make it a bit more competitive. It worked quite well and helped to strengthen the relationship between both clubs. A trophy was also unveiled and will be competed for each year. Pictured left are the players who participated on the day.

Ryno Venter (Chairman of SWCC) Devan Rolfe (Pirates), Jason Bands (Pirates) and Brett Leah (Chairman of Helderberg Pirates) were all smiles at the relationship between the two clubs.
