The Animal Welfare Society (AWS) Helderberg is in desperate need of medium and large-sized plastic dog beds.
The animal-welfare organisation’s kennels at its Mansfield Crescent, Gordon’s Bay premises, are in dire need of bed donations as the current ones being used are old and broken.
“Please help,” it stated. “While our and your dogs at home sleep in comfort and have several beds to choose from in the luxury of their forever homes, the kennel dogs have this one bed to sleep on through the night (obviously with blankets that keep them warm in the winter). The AWS doesn’t have the funds to replace these broken beds and is really sad its dogs must sleep on them. It will be so grateful for any donations.”
