Avid participants exercise their human rights

This past Human Rights Day (Thursday 21 March) Ward 86 came together for a commemorative 5 km fun walk led by Councillor Xolani Diniso. The community enjoyed a day of remembrance and solidarity at Lwandle Sports Ground, honouring the fight for freedom. Not only was there a walk but the community could also participate in aerobics, toning exercises and Zumba-dancing. Everyone who participated received a medal afterwards and the councillor’s office generously provided refreshments for all participants, making it a truly celebratory event.
