Social workers of the Strand ACVV office are searching for the biological parents of four children in the greater Helderberg area, and are calling on the community for assistance in tracing them.

Fanzell “Zelli” Pietersen is being sought in connection with her 4-year-old daughter, Iminathi. She is originally from Sercor Park, Strand.

She is believed to have moved in with the child’s biological father, Lesley, in Wag-’n-Bietjie informal settlement, Nomzamo about eight years ago. She lived here until 2020, before relocating to a residence in Fikile Street, Asanda Village with her boyfriend.

According to social workers it is believed Pietersen has since relocated to Grabouw, but her address is not known.

The office is also looking for the biological fathers of three children from the basin. The children concerned are presently in safe care, awaiting to be placed in foster care with a view to being adopted.

Mrambo Mdleke, who was last seen around Wag-’n-Bietjie informal settlement, is being sought in connection his 7-year-old daughter, Akhanya Beyers. Mozambican national Mathew Joa, who is said to be a resident of Zola, is being sought in connection with his 5-year-old daughter, Asanda Beyers. A man known only as Emmanuel, said to be a Mozambican national and was last seen around Chris Nissan Park, is being sought in connection with his 2-year-old daughter Anovuyo Beyers.

The three children’s biological mother, known as Joyce, lives in Nomzamo.
