Primary schools and schools for pupils with special educational needs have until Friday 9 September to enter this year’s Edukite competition.
Every school that enters is given a kite-making kit that contains blank kites, which are to be decorated with the lpupils’ interpretation of this year’s theme, “Born to Fly”. There will be cash prizes for the primary schools and special education schools: R3 000 for first place, R2 000 for second place and R1 000 for third place.
The competition, which forms part of the 22nd Cape Town International Kite Festival, takes place in Muizenberg on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 October.
