Sixteen hockey players from Somerset College were selected to the Boland provincial hockey teams to participate in interprovincial hockey tournaments (IPT) and regional competitions.
Coach Ainsleigh de Kock was also selected as the under-16A girls IPT coach. The under-14 regional team players are Thando Prusent, Nicholas Reith, Sam Chaplin and Reece Hugo. Kristen Germishuys (girls under-14), Andrea du Plessis (girls under-16), Michaella Beart (girls under-18) and Matthew Dickson (boys under-18) are all regional team players.
The IPT players include Hanna van Heerden and Tarka Harford (girls under-16A), Lauren Venter and Jemma Falkenberg (girls under-16B), Sean Irwin (boys under-16A), Wilhelm Muller, Liam Bayer and Tiago Marques (boys under-16B) and Stephanie Bihl (girls under-18A).
