New floodlights for hockey at Parel Vallei High School

The evening of Monday 12 August marked a new era for hockey at Parel Vallei High School, as the first hockey matches were played under the school’s newly installed floodlights. PV’s girls’ and boys’ under-18A hockey players welcomed members of the Somerset West Hockey Club, past learners, parents and friends to share in this historic event. André Muller (deputy principal), Marius Botha (governing body treasurer), Andy Mallett (Somerset West Hockey Club), Chris Beart (Somerset West Hockey Club chairperson), Eunice Kets (deputy principal) and David Schenck (principal) were instrumental in the planning and installation of the floodlights.
