In a bid to promote cycling among girls at Parel Vallei High School, one of its learners was gifted a Silverback bicycle by Rola Motors. Mika-Leigh Nisbet, a Grade 10 learner, received the bicycle for being the PV cycling team’s most improved girl rider. At the handover were Marius Claassen (Rola Motors CEO), Sarah-Lee Allers (PV cycling manager), Mika-Leigh, Paul Botha (Rola Motors CFO) and Francois Du Toit (PV cycling manager). The team participates in the Spur Schools’ MTB Challenge and placed second overall following the final regional race at Paul Roos Gymnasium in Stellenbosch at the weekend.
