Social workers of the ACVV Strand branch are looking to locate Asanda Velaphi, the biological mother of Asemahle.
She was last seen at Pholile Park Informal Settlement in Nomzamo, back in 2012 when the child concerned was 13 months old.
The child concerned is in the process of being referred for adoption and therefore the organisation is seeking the assistance of the public to help track down the parent.
Anyone with information on Asanda Velaphi or any of Velaphi’s family members and their possible whereabouts, is implored to phone social worker Lucy Retyu on 021 854 7215 (during office hours on weekdays) or send an email to strandnom1@acvv.org.za.
