Continents will collide on African shores on Saturday (12 March), when some of Europe’s finest strikers descend on Cape Town for the Thaiholics Continental Collision at GrandWest’s Market Hall.

Thaiholics Fight Promotions will pull out all the stops to bring a German team comprising slick heavy hitters and world-ranked class to the Continental Collision event. They will face off in full Muay Thai rules on a card that features no less than six professional bouts.

Headlining the event is Cape Town’s Karl “Baywatch” Bergemann, who will take on Berlin’s Enrico Rogge in a catch-weight bout. The co-main event sees WMO African welterweight champion Ncedo Gomba welcome Hamburg’s Kevin Burmester. Paarl’s Adrian “Sparks” van Wyk will battle it out with Florian Kröger from Hamburg, while crowd favourite Lamin Souayah from Libya will square-off against Germany’s Evans Witte. Rounding out the German assault is a firecracker match-up between Crispin Ramis and Nkazimulo “Zuluboy” Zulu from KwaZulu-Natal.

Returning to defend his WMO lightweight pro-am belt is Shane Deacon of Thaiholics Cape Town, who takes on Pride Fighting Academy’s Chester Kruger. Both fighters will look to make their mark on the SA Muay Thai scene in this battle. Doors open at 16:00 and the five-hour event starts at 17:00. Tickets are available online through Quicket at R300.
