An international speaker and author from Somerset West recently released his second book, which is already among the top 10 best sellers.

Erik Kruger’s second title, Dangerous, was officially launched on Tuesday 3 May and, as anticipated, it quickly hit the best-seller list.

The motivational book encourages one to be effective against the threats in one’s life, and also urges the reader to not only embrace the challenges and obstacles life places in one’s path, but also see them as opportunities for growth.

Dangerous is about taking back control and stepping into your power.

“We are all continuously threatened,” Kruger pointed out. “This may sound depressing, but in reality it’s an invitation to become a better version of yourself. How you learn to respond to threats determines the trajectory of your life.

“If you respond with a lack of force, energy and will, you will most likely end up in a familiar place – survival mode. Many of us know this space all too well. I have worked with incredible business leaders, sportsmen and sportswomen, professionals and leaders in their fields and everyone – even the most successful among us – end up in survival mode at one time or another.”

Born in Cape Town in 1984, Kruger attended Christiaan Beyers Primary and Johan Jurgens High School in Springs. He obtained all his degrees at Wits (BSc Physiotherapy, PDM Postgraduate Diploma in Management, MMBEC master’s of Management in Executive Coaching).

He currently lives in Somerset West with his wife and their German shepherds.
