Strand: Dr G.J. Joubert Primary School holds its Mr & Miss Joubery Primary 2022 at the school from 18:00. The show features junior (Grade RR to 3) and senior (Grade 4 to 7) learners braving the catwalk in smart casual and evening wear. Strand: A tribute to the King of Rock n Roll, From Memphis To Las Vegas: Elvis Tribute will be staged at The Drama Factory in Asla Park at 19:30 tonight (Friday) and 16:30 on Sunday (4 September). The show covers many of Elvis’ greatest hits from all three decades of his career, namely the 1950s, when he became an international rock n roll star, the movie years of the 1960s, and the glitzy 1970s, when Elvis reigned supreme in Las Vegas. The show is a mini-theatrical experience, featuring the dynamic vocal and visual performances of James Marais and Monique Cassells, alternating as a duo and individual performers, who also do multiple costume changes throughout.
