Members of the Little Rascals Youth Club, a community initiative of Victoria Park, participated in a gender-based violence awareness programme held in the residential area on Saturday 27 August. The engagement included taking to the community’s streets in peaceful placard protest against violence aimed at women and children, distribution of information pamphlets as well as a short dramatisation written by a Little Rascals Youth Club member, Estiaan Diener (12), and performed by fellow youngsters before a crowd comprising Somerset West police officers, Somerset West Community Policing Forum representatives and Victoria Park residents.
