The Representative Council of Learners (RCL) of Hottentots-Holland High School ran a sanitary-towel drive throughout Women’s Month (August), to help girls who don’t have access to these much-needed products. They collected five boxes of products, which amounts to more than 24 000 units, which were handed over to Goeie Hoop Kinderhuis, founded by Erwin and Ida Born, and received by facility manager Herlene Petersen. The school’s management team thanked the RCL members (behind, from left) Likhona Sangqu, Shakiya Eksteen and Emile Hendricks, and (front) Kayla Petersen, Jordan Adams, Qondani Mba, other learners and parents for all their donations.
