Avid walkers and runners laced-up for the Hirsch’s Somerset West fun run, which was held in aid of the Heartlands Baby Sanctuary this past Saturday (24 September). The route spanned 5 km, with participants taking on numerous laps in and around The Interchange. Heartlands Baby Sanctuary’s Lisah Dake and Nikki Bower manned a stall offering teddies up for adoption on the day.

Five-year-old Jordan and Raymond Scheepers were the leaders of the pack.

Ardene Hindley-Nicholas, Aneeqah Samuels, Sinalo Laaistok and Nabeelah Omar cheered on the eager participants while making sure they stay hydrated.

Running enthusiast Tina Chibarinya and her mother, Mary, took on the challenge for the worthy cause.
