N2 4×4 Bakkie Spares was established around six years ago after a dire need for used, but genuine, car and bakkie parts was identified.
“Many people cannot afford brand new parts for their vehicles, but do not want ‘grey import’ or aftermarket parts which are often of an inferior quality,” a spokesperson said. “The business provides a solution by offering genuine, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts that are stripped from vehicles that have been scrapped or written off, but which are still in working order and have many years of useful functionality left in them.”
The business relocated from Unit 1, 2 and 3 to its current premises at 255 Broadlands Industrial in Broadlands Road in 2020 and is owned by Peter Uys, who acquired the business from the previous owner in September last year.
The business, which is paving the way for future sustainable vehicle maintenance and management boasts six employees, including sales staff breakers, a mechanic, and IT, social media and administrative support. A highlight which has lead to continued business growth, remains “providing a solution to an increasing need in the community for access to affordable genuine vehicle parts.”
