A Boland Veterans Ama20 League clash between Helderberg Vikings and Stellenbosch Strikers was played at Strand Cricket Club, the new home of the Vikings, on Friday 10 November. The Vikings scored 145/2 in 20 overs as Morné Albanie (56) and Alton Roberts (34) top-scored for the home team. Stellenbosch Strikers could muster only 107/8 in their allotted 20 overs as Marlon Petersen bowled with figures of 3/37 to help secure a memorable win for the Helderberg Vikings (pictured). The Vikings’ next match is against Drakenstein Griffins at Groot Drakenstein Sports Ground in Franschhoek on Friday 1 December.
