The Helderberg Village Music Society hosts a concert by pianist José Dias and clarinettist Annelize de Villiers at Talani Terrace at 16:00 on Sunday 18 February. Dias is a regular presence at all of the country’s major concert halls and music festivals. Recently international performances have taken him to, among others, Germany, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Belgium. He is in high demand as soloist, chamber musician and vocal accompanist. De Villiers studied with renowned Swiss clarinettist Frédéric Rapin, obtaining her MA degree in Music Performance. She also took further courses in bass and good historical clarinet. She has performed in Switzerland and France has won several awards and is now a member of the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra, is teaching and also lecturing at University of Cape Town.
