- The Department of Social Development in Somerset West is looking to make contact with Siphokazi Skolo concerning her biological child.
She is being sought in connection with documentation required for toddler Lunathi, born on 22 September 2021 and has been in foster care since birth.
Skolo was last seen in Strand in the year her child was born. She was reported to be heavily dependent on drugs.
At some point she lived with the father of her biological child.
However, he is deceased after being murdered, reportedly by a mob.
Lunathi, who was found in need of care and protection, was placed in foster care.
The child does not have a birth certificate because the mother does not have the identity document as her mother (Lunathi’s maternal grandmother) failed to obtain one following her birth.
- Skolo is urged to call social worker Sinesipho Booi on 021 840 3500/25, during office hours (07:30-16:00). The ACVV Somerset West office is requesting the assistance of the public to help track Jason Klink down.
The biological father being sought was last seen in the Somerset West area.
