OK Foods and Community Chest stepped in to assist a Strand community following the weekend before last’s storm. Supermarket and community organisation representatives joined hands to provide humanitarian relief to affected families from Morkel’s Cottage. Non-perishable goods – valued at R10 000 and matched by the Community Chest – were donated and included rice, cooking oil and toiletries among other items.
