The Department of Social Development in Somerset West calls on the assistance of the community to make contact with Vanessa Betaline Nowinile Hendricks.
Hendricks, formerly residing at 25 144 Phikelela Street in Asanda Village, Strand, and currently believed to be in Grabouw, is being sought for matters concerning the ongoing care and future planning for her children, 12 and 10 respectively. The biological fathers are Jeffrey (surname unknown) from Paarl and Yandisa Sikweyiya (deceased).
The biological mother moved to Grabouw in April after accepting a job offer, leaving her children without planned supervision. Since then the children have been under the care of social workers. It is imperative to establish a plan for the children’s future, and the mother’s input and cooperation is essential.
The mother or anyone with information which could help track her down, is urged to call social worker Sinesipho Booi on 021 840 3500/25 during office hours (07:30 to 16:00).
- Wandisa, a specialist child protection and adoption agency, is urgently seeking information regarding the biological father or any relatives of a male child named Iphemna Sifanele, who was born at Helderberg Hospital on 21 May 2023. Anyone with information or wishing to claim responsibility for Iphemna, and can provide proof of their relationship to the child, is urged to contact social worker Renate on 021 852 8025.
- Child Welfare South Africa Helderberg is urgently looking for any information which could aid their search for Mellisa Kruger. Her last known whereabouts was in Garden Village, Somerset West. The office is also looking for Mawushandile Danagzele. He was last seen in Zola, Strand.
