In anticipation of this year’s festive season, Captain Charles Riffel, commander of Sir Lowry’s Pass satellite police station, trained community members of Zwelitsha, Chris Nissen Park and Raithby as Community in Blue patrollers on Saturday 5 October. The newly-trained members will assist with crime-prevention patrols in designated hot-spot areas as well as malls. “I am grateful to all the officers for their willingness to ensure a safe-and-secure festive season,” said Riffel.Photo: Charles Riffel
