The under-20 team of Strand United was crowned winners of the Community 10s Rugby Tournament, which was held at City Park over the weekend. In a thrilling final, the local lads triumphed over Vineyards RFC of Paarl with a convincing 32-12 victory, securing the trophy and maintaining an unbeaten record throughout the day. The team is coached by father and daughter duo Anwar and Gaamiela Josephs.
