The Rhenish Girls’ High School first hockey team has enjoyed an excellent season with some never-before-achieved moments. In 2019, the team placed first at the All Girls’ Tournament and Investec under-19 Tournament, third at the Cape Town International Tournament and fourth at the FNB Super 12 Top Schools’ Tournament (invitation only). They were the top team in the Western Cape and crowned the winners of the Boland Cup. Many of the individual members of the team also achieved Boland colours, while Lauren Robb was selected for the South African under-18B team.
