Parel Vallei High School has announced its new Interact Committee for 2020-’21. From left: Jelena Jerling (president), Liza Spires (deputy-president), Yesol Jeong (secretary) and Gemma Raoult (treasurer, absent) will serve on the committee. Interact clubs form part of Rotary and bring together young people aged 12 to 18 to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of “service above self”. The new, passionate committee has already initiated its first project, the Santa Shoebox Project, which has become a tradition at PV. All the Grade 8 to 11 classes will register and participate to make a difference in other children’s lives. Foto:
