Gordon’s Bay Community Day Centre (CDC) is one of four sites that have been added to the municipality’s extensive list of Covid-19 vaccination sites in Cape Town.
The capacity increase is a joint initiative launched by the City of Cape Town and NPO Khethimpilo earlier this month. The organisation will host pop-up rotational vaccination sites at Gordon’s Bay CDC on Wednesdays, Luvuyo CDC on Mondays and Tuesdays, Dr Ivan Tomms CDC on Thursdays and Town Two CDC on Fridays.
The pop-up sites will operate from 09:00 to 15:00 and offer the service to eligible people who have yet to be vaccinated and those eligible for booster shots. The City already has 12 fixed vaccination sites augmented by the area-based mobile vaccination vans, introduced in August last year.
