Calling all avid swimmers for a swimathon in aid of Heartlands Baby Sanctuary.
The event is scheduled for the municipal indoor pool in Strand on Friday 6 May from 18:00 until 20:00.
Participants are required to bring goggles and swimming caps to swim some laps.
The entry fee is R10 for children older than a year and R20 for those 12 years and older. Participants pay R50 for every 10 laps. All payments and registrations are to be made at the door on arrival.
All registered swimmers will receive a free Virgin Active pass. Snacks will be available to purchase on the day.
