The company dancers of Rhapsody Dance Centre in Strand excelled during the South African Body of Dance (SABOD) Battle of the Giants 2022 competition, held at the glitzy Sun City Super Bowl in April.
After dancing at such a high-standard competition, the local students of the Prestige Youth Dance Company, which forms part of the Rhapsody Dance Centre, returned home with amazing results, winning 12 gold, seven silver and six bronze medals, along with two fourth- place finishes in the World Trial Circuit (WTC) division.
Furthermore, the talented Cara Hilpert placed third in the Battle of the Achiever hip hop section, while Mieke Carr was named the Overall Most Promising Junior in the performing arts section.
