Local author Sedick Crombie visited schools ahead of Youth Day (Thursday 16 June), where he handed his book My Apartheid Diary to learners. The book, published in 2020, is about how apartheid policy, especially the Group Areas Act and forced removals, impacted his life and the lives of others classified coloured by the system. The handover is part of a wider outreach in distributing the book to the youth.
