Friends Serving the Community (Friesco), an organisation that was founded by a group of friends from Strand, donated adult nappies and other winter necessities to the elderly at Sencit Resthaven Home for the Aged in Rusthof. The handover took place at the home for the aged on Saturday 13 August and the residents were elated by the visit and the donation. They received not only nappies, but scarves and blankets as well.
