Somerset West: ACVV Huis Marie Louw is opening their gardens to children and playgroups as of today until the end of October. The gardens will be open from 15:00 to 16:00 on weekdays. Somerset West: Gordon High School will host a karaoke evening at the school hall in De Beers Avenue from 19:00 until late. The cost is R50. Interested parties can take along their own beverages, platters and snacks. There will be prizes up for grabs and lucky draws. No children or school learners will be allowed to attend the event. Daar sal beskuit, koekies en melktert, kerrie-en-rys, samoosa’s, soutterte, neute, droëvrugte, fudge, vetkoek, pasteie, braaivleis en slaaie, potjiekos, boeppensbroodjies, pannekoek en poeding wees. Daar sal ook ’n tweedehandse mark, kindertafel, stalletjies en ’n inkleurkompetisie wees wat kinders tussen vier en 12 jaar ’n tablet in die sak kan bring.
